Happy 2018 friends!! I am SO excited to be sharing this wedding with you today. It was my first New Years Eve wedding, and I am not exaggerating when I say it was completely perfect from beginning to end! Although we had frigid temperatures that day, we also had full sun and a dusting of fresh snow that had fallen that morning, which truly made for breathtaking portraits. Lauren and Ben were such troopers (using hand warmers, wool socks and blankets we took breaks every 15 minutes to make sure no one got frostbite! You’ll want to be looking for those images in my behind the scenes post coming soon 😉 and made the most of the winter wonderland they were given for their wedding day!
We had the pleasure of working with some of the best in the business for this wedding – Emily of Emily Ventura Designs planned the day exquisitely – no detail was overlooked, and the day was flawless start to finish. Old Forest Farm continued to blow me away with their talent, creating some of the most gorgeous floral designs I’ve seen, and don’t even get me started on the beautiful invitation suite, sparkling Badgley Mischka shoes, and the Ritz Charles, which could not have been a better backdrop for this fairytale day!
Lauren and Ben, thank you so much for trusting me with these moments and inviting me to celebrate with you and ring in the new year together! You could not have had a more perfect winter wedding, and I’m so thankful you guys embraced the cold weather (just wait until you see your portraits! Worth it!!)
