From the Bride: "We are really laid-back people, and planning from Cambodia has meant that most of it is coming together in the final stages! We wanted the day to be simple, a little unconventional and focused on our marriage, our loved ones and most importantly, Jesus! We started dating when Connor was in Ethiopia and I was in Indianapolis, but that soon turned into Skype calls from Cambodia to Ethiopia. When he moved to Cambodia and we got engaged, we started planning from there and now we are so excited to finally be getting married!"
I can hardly believe that I'm sharing my last wedding of 2015! It's been a crazy year, filled with 21 weddings and multiple portrait sessions, and Alison & Connor made the end of my 2015 season a great one! These two are absolutely smitten with one another - I loved the looks they gave each other during portraits and across the room on the dance floor. They pulled together a unique and memorable event - the bride even designed her dress and had it personally made in Cambodia! The Speak Easy in Broad Ripple was a perfect backdrop for the two of them, encapsulating their laid-back style. There were so many personal details, including handmade mugs for each guest to sip on tea during the reception! It was a joy to be a part of this day, and I'm so glad I had the assistance of my husband, Tim and my right-hand girl, Leanne, to shoot along with me :) Enjoy some of my favorites!
